My Bosch induction cooktop was installed two weeks ago. It is my first induction cooktop. Therefore, I have been experimenting with its different settings to cook my meals. So far so good. I hope to be more proficient with it as time goes on.

I love my induction cooktop. I thought it would be difficult to learn how to use, but actually it is a breeze and so easy to clean. I highly recommend getting silicone disks to set the cookware on ...it just protects your investment and also aids in cleaning. I would buy this over and over again.

We have lived in our home for nearly 30 years, and this is the first new cooktop I have owned.
After dealing with cooktops from a garage, Salvation Army, or Restore, this appliance, courtesy of my son, is like a dream.
It's heating is incredibly fast and efficient.
I love the fact that the elements stay cool, and the programing is so efficient.
It affords a spacious cooking area with a stunning display.
The only downside is I am kicking myself for not getting one sooner!

I originally ordered a Bosch cooktop and downdraft units at Lowes. After 2 delivery dates were missed, I cancelled that order and ordered directly from Bosch's website. After the advertised delivery date was not met, I started calling Bosch once a week for 3 more weeks. I was never given a date when the product would be delivered when I called. Each time I spoke with a representative, who told me they contacted the shipping center and were not given a date when the units would be shipped. So, after the third phone call (each time having lengthy waiting times to speak with someone), I cancelled my order. On the next business day, I noticed my credit card had been charged for the order. When I called back a fourth time, I was told that the unit was out for delivery and I would need to refuse delivery before I could get a credit. I received a call from their delivery company on December 6th who wanted to deliver the products on December 20th. Of course I refused delivery. I am still waiting for a credit to be applied to my credit card statement. Bosch may make a good product but their customer service is the pits!

I didn't expect that the cooktop would make my life easier, but it did. With the power boost you can do a better job of having all the food finished at the same time. You don't have to start the pasta water so far in advance. The top is easy to keep clean.

I have been a lifelong gas range using cook, but I recently installed an in-home air filtration system and I was getting air quality alerts. These alerts lined up with any time I cooked with gas, even with my hood on full blast. While it is not cheap to upgrade the electrical to support an induction range, it has been worth it to me. No more AQ alerts and I love the sleek look of the 800 series induction cooktop.
There is a learning curve to using induction but the things that I love are being able to boil water incredibly fast and also being able to achieve a sear on food like I have never had before. I have had it now for about 4 months and so glad that I made the switch. I highly recommend buying a silicon cover for the cooktop - something that Bosch should consider providing to its customer as a standard given the price!!!

I couldn't be happier with this cooktop. Very consistent, very responsive, very attractive. It's easy to clean, and I find the recommended white vinegar cleans as well as the cleaners specifically designed for induction cooktops. I have used the Auto-chef on a number of dishes, and love the way it works. Friends are jealous of the even browning of my pancakes. Highly recommend this cooktop.

This is my second Bosch induction cooktop. I did a kitchen remodeling and purchased this model. The first induction cooktop perfomed flawlessly for 10 years. It heats very quickly and if there is a spill the cleanup is easy.
