We are very pleased with our new Bosch side door oven.
Opening the door to the side allows you better posture for heavy items to be placed. This was a great purchase.

So far as of install on 12/15/25 it has been the best wall over we have had. We had a Bosch before this one and loved it. We were needing to replace it and loved the idea of the left hand door open. It really is so much better and easier to use. This one cooks so good and evenly we love it.

I unfortunately had to replace my 20 year old workhorse, professional grade oven and landed on the Bosch. While I really wanted the same brand as my prior oven, the price point was out of my budget.
My second want was a French Door oven, but again, out of my price range.
The Bosch was my next affordable option. She's a stunner and I love the features. The door did it for me. Being short and now in my 60s, I didn't want to lean over an oven door to wrestle a heavy roast or cast iron pot from the oven. It's a thrill to open the door and basically "step in" to my oven. The rolling rack is AAAHHHHMMMAZING!
She gets to temperature quickly for preheat, which saves me a bit on utilities.
So far p, in the few weeks I have had the oven installed, I am very pleased.
NOW... if I can get 20 years out of this one, then she's a winner!

This wall oven replaced an under-cooktop oven, and was relocated to about chest-height. What a game-changer! Absolutely love how quick it is to preheat, how quiet it is & the side-hinged door. The Bosch is sturdy and the controls are intuitive for dopes like me to use w/o emotional trauma. My only regret is that we didn't make this upgrade sooner...

We love this oven. The pull out shelf is great and the side open door is wonderful. We don't have to lift heavy items up while bending and the door opens for ease and to be able to stand close to the oven when preparing and taking items in and out.

I love the oven features. The enamel oven floor is easy to clean, because it doesn't have an exposed heating element. The side opening door is great!!! My whole family likes that feature; I especially like it because I have a short torso & can reach in to put & remove the hot food/pans without the over reach of having the typical oven door in the way. Great design.

The side open feature is a real back saver, not only do you not have to bend over to put your food in or out, you can see it without bending over with the very nice side lights that turn on when you open the door. Controls are very easy and the roll out rack is awesome. I highly recommend.

Very happy with our selection. The extra expense has been worth it based on the quality and features of this model. The side swing door, easy to use touch screen, and sliding rack make this model feel more like a commercial oven without the rigid look.

I have always wanted to have An oven with the door that swung to the left or right. I am 5 foot tall on the regular ovens doors normally get in my way. Now I don't have to reach so far in to get to the food I am cooking.

It's a good looking oven. Love the telescoping rack. I am short and have burned my arms too many times to count on my old oven. The salesman lied and said it was convection. It's not. I was also told I could hook it up with Wi fi, I can't. It cooks fine. Nothing exceptional. The broiler works great.

When we saw this in the showroom, my vertically challenged wife was thrilled she could have an oven door that opened from the side for access! This is our first Bosche oven and we are very happy with it.

Love the side opening door; did have the Cafè double opening door, but this one I like even more. Bakes beautiful cakes.
Two cons: Timer volume is WAY too low; surely the intellect it takes to build one of these ovens could figure out how to turn up the sound. And the controls are too sensitive. I am constantly turning things on when I dust over the oven, or when I slightly brush against it as I'm using my microwave, which is over the oven.
Overall I do love the oven.

Just installed and takes forever to preheat, called customer service and no one picks up. Even to Bake just to 350 takes more than 40 minutes and still doesn't get to 350F

Replacing a 2007 year Bosch Wall Oven (BHBL5045) with failed hinges and no longer available parts, this wall oven offers side-opening door with simple design hinge point. I translate likely to prove more reliable than high stress bottom hinge door opening from the top. Oven appearance is pleasing. Ferguson's proved prompt in all aspects of Service and Installation

Unfortunately, the fan assembly in this oven was not properly installed and I had to have a repairman come out and fix it. Parts took 10 business days to get here, but now that it's fixed, I actually like it. Having the door swing completely out of the way for accessing food inside is wonderful. Hope the fan issue was just a glitch on this particular one.

I used my new oven 2 times and on the 2nd use the oven made a loud metal on metal grinding sound! Turns out the fan in the rear of the unit wasn't set properly on the shaft and was grinding against the rear metal fan plate. I'm now waiting on parts to hopefully repair it. For an expensive appliance, I would never have expected the quality control to be so poor.
